BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (2X)
INNOVATIVE MATERIAL SOLUTIONS

Location: Rotterdam, The Netherlands + traveling


The Business Development Manager is primarily responsible for expanding relationships with new strategical customers in areas such as the food packaging industry and/or the piping industry. Leading strategic projects and partnerships to create new avenues for growth. The Manager represents the entire range of company products to assigned industries, while leading the customer account planning process and ensuring assigned customers' needs and expectations are met by the company. The candidate will directly report to the company’s CEO.

The ideal candidate has strong relationships within our current market and the above-mentioned industries.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business through the identification, development and onboarding of new accounts (focusing on the EU-market)

  • Expand, build and nurture relationships with key/strategic accounts

  • Establish productive and professional relationships with assigned customer accounts across the entire portfolio to achieve sales growths and objectives

  • Demonstrate leadership and decision-making competencies in adjusting strategy to account for local factors or market shifts

  • Build and execute strategic account planning that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.

  • A well-established commercial network is strongly preferred along with a progressive knowledge of industry trends

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others

  • Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate well and think quick on your feet

  • Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills

  • Results orientated, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and self-motivating

  • Dutch and English are the main languages. German/Italian are a plus.

JUNIOR TECHNICAL MANAGER (2X)
R&D AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Location: Bologna - Cuneo, Italy + traveling


The technical manager is primarily responsible for the research and development, laboratory and technical assistance in the industrial sector of thermoplastic materials. The candidate must conduct, organise and follow product and production development, quality control and new R&D projects; an obligatory training course of 6 months - 1 year must be followed with the support of a senior Italian Engineer. Knowledge of the Italian language is therefore welcome. The candidate will directly report to the company’s CTO. 

The ideal candidate has a Chemical education and a strong motivation to work within an innovative and growing European multinational Company in the materials industry.

Responsibilities

  • Research, development and technical assistance in the industrial sector of thermoplastic raw materials

  • Team up with fellow researchers within the company

  • Establish productive and professional relationships with assigned third-party laboratories and production sites accounts to achieve production quality growths and control.

  • Demonstrate leadership and decision-making competencies in technical assistance supported by the back office company and senior Engineer.

  • Build and execute strategic research and development planning that develops mutual performance objectives, targets, and critical milestones for the projects assigned.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others

  • Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate well and think quick on your feet

  • Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills

  • Results orientated, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and self-motivating

In the food contact space, it can improve the freshness of products, it can prolong the shelf life of foods, it can prevent cross contamination, it can lead to the reduction of preservatives in products, etc. In the piping industry the technology prevents clogging by strongly preventing biofilm adhesion and build-up and it can improve the overall hygiene.
